@Isaac S.

That’s a great magic number!

I like how you are bringing in people to take care of certain things. It’s a good way to help both you and the people you hire to figure out what you want.

Executive investing would be fun!

Once you get your team built and start buying deals, 150 might become small :).

Or maybe you can just keep upgrading your properties as well.

Looking forward to your post as a executive!

🙂

@Jennifer Gligoric

A mix is aways nice! “Quick” money and long term money!

But as a handy person you can easily do both. :)

@Jennifer Gligoric

It definitely depends on the person! :)

Some people get great satisfaction with tenant contact and other would rather never see their tenants if at all possible.

The beauty of real estate is the ability to do what ever we want. :)

You can even change your mind when ever you want! Isn’t that just awesome!?

You mentioned allot about flip deals in your message.. do you prefer those over rentals or what is your opinion on flipping verses buy and holds?

@Ron Hall

Agreed! 😂

Would you love to hire it all out one day?

Or do you enjoy doing the things you can?

@Michael Noto

I think the greatest most forgotten way of learning how to be handy is the passed on kind.

I say this very carefully because I don’t want to bring up bad memories for those with bad or none existent fathers but 50 years ago just about everyone knew how to do everything themselves.

And they learned it from their father figure.

By the time a person was 18 they could practically build a house.

If we could find a way to replicate that again competition sure would be tough in the real estate field. 😄.

Saying that here’s a question..

You said you had to learn to be handy, what would you say is the best way to learn that nowadays?

@Chad Clark

That’s great! What is your end goal?

Do you plan to keep buying houses every time you finish the next, till you feel you have enough? /do you have a number in mind?

And do you think you would like to change your strategy eventually?

@Trevor Neis

You tube will be your friend! Lol find a good reliable channel and follow it. This old house is a good one. RR buildings is excellent to follow as well. Less remodeling on his channel but great work and advice!

Books are good to but not my style.

Watching how and jumping in head first isn’t a bad thing.

Other wise there are contractors out there that don’t mind free help. Just ask one until you find one. :)

The old rich dad method!

Mistakes are where you learn the most.

@Allan Szlafrok

Right! 😂 to many trips to the hardware store might be a sign you need to hire it out.
