@Ryan Winzenburg sorry to hear. I found a few golden nuggets in the course but everything else you can definitely learn for free. I found his facebook group to be the most value.

@Angela Alen-Martine

Have you checked out Airbnb Automated on youtube? I found out this channel though here on BP when asking about another Airbnb course. Tons of information and value for free. Also some great topics here but you do have to search which takes time.

It sounds like you have more time than money right? If so then you could spend time here on BP and going through the forum to learn. If you have less time and looking to get more structure content than a course might be a good idea just make sure the course is something you see great value and personally like the person. No matter what you decide nothing matters if you don't take action to get you closer to your goal.

@Erwin Sham - Totally legit question. Courses can be great. I self-studied AirBnB management books and online forums (including BP) for 6 months, and then attended a local real estate conference organized by one of my mentors, @J. Martin. I got to network with a bunch of successful Airbnb folks and it gave me the additional knowledge and courage I needed to launch my AirBnB business. I also signed up for a great course led by @Al Williamson. One year and 12 units later I had stepped out of 20 years in corporate America. After 2 years I had 20 units and I was earning a good income managing AirBnB units.

Hard work and mistakes have been my best teachers, but my mentors are a very close second!

Good luck. 👍

Thanks Ethan,

l heard about J. Martin and I will look him up. Would love to connect with you. I grew up in Fairfield. Any of the books you studied have audible version? I'll look into Al Williamson.

Hi Ken,

I just value my time. Say it takes me hrs, weeks, or months to go through the forums for all the necessary information. You think that is best way to serve my time if I value my time at $500 hr or above? Yes there are some great books on Amazon and is one way to learn. I am a visual learner what works best for me.

I appreciate all the feedback don't get me wrong I love free content but the reason I am looking to save time vs spending needless time compiling all the necessary information. If BP had a great guide or even a webinar it would be great.

Hi,

I am looking for anyone that started STR with J Massey Short Term Rental Mastermind Business Course. I would love any feedback.

Thanks,

Hi Michael,

Nice to meet you. I was looking into some areas in Philippines would love to know some strategies. Currently have a lot in Camaya Coast and was looking at Bohol.

Hi Erwin,

I am also looking at investing in Bohol. I have a friend from there who is interested in investing back home. I have been studying up. I’ll bookmark this post!

Best of Luck,

Kel

Hey Kel,

Nice to meet you. Was your friend looking at condos or land with house? I personally see more value in land with house in Philippines as condos are good for 50 yrs.
