Post: Tenant Suspected of Using Drugs

I recently signed a lease with my first tenant. We did a walk through of the place, he loved it and everything seemed great. I did a background check on them and everything checked out. I got a phone call today from a friend of the tenant stating they know the tenant is using drugs. I have it in my lease that drug use is prohibited. I don’t want to call the guy and ask based off a tip from a random person. For all I know the person could just be upset with my tenant and trying to retaliate. How would I handle this in the chance that he is using?

No, it’s not worth it. It’s a complete pyramid scheme. I just finished my 3 days and the last day I tried to give my number to another participant to keep in touch (they discourage you from networking at the 3 day) and one of the mentors began yelling at me and became physically aggressive to the point where he grabbed me and shoved me. Plus they will try to sell you anywhere between $20,000 - $50,000 worth of more classes during the entire 3 day class.
