@Julia Jabronski

This is so right on. I’ve been reading these forums for the past year and occasionally listening to the BP podcasts and scratching my head. These jokers are really just Instagram “influencers” hawking poorly written books and seminars - they don’t know what they’re doing. And half the people they have on their show are the exact same - “personalities” interested in the show biz side of it. Embarrassing

I’m planning on being in Scottsdale next week and was going to spend half a day looking around at neighborhoods and houses for sale to get a feel for what’s out there and generally get the lay of the land. I’ve got family in the area and have visited many dozens of times over the years, but I’ve never really delved deeply into looking at real estate. I’m just getting started but Scottsdale (and the whole “valley” area) are at the top of my list in terms of places to possibly buy an investment property. If any of you fine folks has recommendations on areas to look at while I’m around, I’d appreciate your thoughts. Thanks!

Thank you so much, @Brad Bellstedt, @Dan Mumm, and @Eric Fernwood

I REALLY appreciate the insight and info.

I am going to make a trip out to LV in a few weeks, and I'm going to plan to take a look at a few neighborhoods and a few houses for sale

I was hoping to attend the upcoming MHU Boot Camp in Orange County, but tickets are sold out. So I may go to the one in Las Vegas later this year. If anyone is interested in partnering up to buy two tickets together (and save some $), please let me know

Hi folks. I'm still in learning mode but starting to focus on specific markets for buying my first SFH to put to use as an investment/long term rental property.

Las Vegas is one of the markets I’ve been interested in. I know several people there and it’s easy to get to for me (I live in California). I feel like I haven’t seen a whole lot of discussion of LV on BP and I’m wondering if people don’t think it’s a good place to buy / attract renters.

Would anyone be willing to share strong opinions one way or another? Or point me to resources they've found useful re: Las Vegas REI?

Thank you!

I should have mentioned that there isn’t a home on this lot. It’s just the lot itself. Thanks!

Hello folks. I’ve been looking around for “starter” mobile home park investment opportunities, and I found something that I haven’t seen before: Someone selling a single lot within a 50-lot park. Has anyone here had any experience with purchasing a single lot?
