Mobile Home University Bootcamp
I'm going to the Mobile Home University Bootcamp next month in Austin, Tx https://www.mobilehomeuniversity.com/mobile-home-p...
I live in South Jersey, a MSA of Philly. I've been investing in SFRs in the area for 10 + years. As I work to make RE income replace my W2, I I've been studying and analyzing larger apartment deals (attending Michael Blanks forum next month as well) and MFP's. I'm part of a local REIA and know a lot of commercial and large MF investors, but I have to say, MHP's are never discussed around here. I've only talked to MHP owners through BP or FB groups. Seems like there are hot pockets of MHP investing in TX, Carolinas and the Midwest. I'm certainly intrigued by what I know so far and look forward to learning the business.
So, has anyone ever attended the Mobile Home University Bootcamp or going to this one?
Secondly, any MHP investors have thoughts on opportunities in SNJ, PA and DE?
Appreciate it,
Mike

@Mike Parlante - Where in South Jersey? There's a group of us who gets together somewhat regularly from BP that @Justin Eaton usual organizes. Some of us are actually getting together tonight.
I don't think any of us are mobile home investors specifically (mostly flippers or single family/small multi rental income folks), but it's generally a good time when we hang out.
As for my opinion on opportunity...Cumberland/Salem/Atlantic/Cape May counties is where I'd be looking for MHP in South Jersey. You'll have depressed cap rates in NJ due to taxes...but since you live here you already know that. In Delaware you'll be looking mostly in Sussex, maybe a little bit in Kent Counties...and PA...well stay away from the blue areas of the state and you'll have some opportunities as well...but that's less MHP and more about modular homes no parcels.
