@Tyler Jahnke

So throughout your whole experience, would you say going through Morris Invest was a good investment? And for your second property, would you go through them again?

@Jason G. I didnt recall encountering any notable issues. That sounds like a huge pain. I think the inspections are done in house from Roofstock so it could be that they sway it a bit in their favor or provide inaccurate information as opposed to their appraisal since that is done with a third party.

@Jason G. Yes, I closed two weeks ago. Im not sure if it was a one off kinda thing but I've experienced very unresponsiveness and disorganization. It was like pulling teeth half the time. Wasn't the seamless kind of transaction they advertised it to be. im glad its over now

Its a good concept but bad experience with them. My biggest issue with them was the responsiveness. Sometimes it took days to be able to get in contact to them even after numerous emails and phone calls

Hello BP Community!

I am in the process of finding insurance for my first property. Does anybody have any recommendations on insurance brokers that can shop around for me and give me quotes from multiple places? I find it very time consuming to get a quote individually through each insurer.

Also I want to hear about your experience and which insurer has the best rates/service.

Thanks in advance!

Hello BP!

I am currently in the process of buying my first single family rental. I am wondering what is the minimum insurance coverage required in the state of GA? I have gotten a quote but not sure what I'm looking at exactly as well as if its a good price. What is the recommended coverage?

@Account Closed How do we keep track and accountability? Are there legal contracts to sign or does the person just take the money and deposit into their account and give the investor an I.O.U?

How does the structure of private lending work exactly? Is it money from friends, family, and everyday average Joe investors? Is it simply just an I.O.U. and keeping track yourself of who you owe money or does it still require to undergo written contract agreement? If I still require a mortgage even after receiving some funds form private lending, wouldn't it raise a red flag to the bank where I got the money from when showing proof of assets?
