Just got a quote from these guys NHG which was very competitive but there isnt any reviews on yelp or anything on google reviews. Seems sketchy. Anyone ever use them? If i do proceed with them, how do i make sure i dont get scammed since I am out of state

Was wondering about property management companies in the greater metro Atlanta region about the best service as well as price. I see a lot of forum posts about this but end up in private discussions as they all say to PM them. This can also serve as for others who are searching for this without having to privately message a ton of people.

I am currently using Excalibur. They're good but definitely can improve upon in some areas such as service. It also took nearly 3 months to find a tenant which might not necessarily 100% be the fault of them but definitely could've done a better and faster job. Instances like this make me consider looking for other property managers that can offer better service at competitive rates

I've spoke to one of their Investment Counselor last month over the phone and had a good feeling about it. He was very professional and answered all my questions. I was interested in the Atlanta market and was told that I would be notified once more inventory has come through. I haven't heard from him since. It's either they really don't have inventory or communication isn't as strong as it originally appeared to be

@Ken T. which turnkey company did you go through for your second one and what is your experience with them? Would you recommend them?

I am in a search for a reliable TK provider

@Steve Kontos

How do you go about it without taking the turnkey route? As a busy full time worker, I don't have much time to go out there look for properties, potentially facilitate rehab, etc.

As many of you may know, NYC isn't cheap. Seeking out an attractive investment opportunity in NYC is extremely hard and huge entrance barrier for someone who doesn't have too much money. Yields aren't very attractive with high home prices. You can pretty much get the same amount of rent for half the price of a home elsewhere.

What are my options? I am considering turn-key providers but many of them aren't reputable enough for me to feel comfortable investing with them. Anyone have any recommendations for turn-key providers?
