@Jack Gibson my father is self employed he does machine repair. in the sterling heights area. This is what I'm going to college for and i am mentoring with him. One day to be able to work for him. We live 20 mins from the shops we service. So currently there is no point in moving out. But don't worry won't be here for ever!  As for why single family homes they are just a starter. Also i have paid $37,000 which rents for $700 a month and $39,000 for the other which rents for $675. They need not a single repair. I have considered looking to a  2 plex but they would be way over the $100,000 range. The single family are working great for me. But looking in to a 2 flex or a 3 plex would be something i should look in to !

Hello everyone, I have recently bought a 3800 psi power washer to clean the outside of my rentals that have vinyl siding. I am thinking about starting a side say (hobby) of power washing decks and other peoples homes around my area of (Capac, Brown city, Peck,) for weekend for, to help me achieve my goal of getting another rental within 8 months. What does everyone think about this? Does anyone have any points? Kinda off topic but would love if anyone has any advice
