Keep trying. Keep networking. You will bump into someone who happens to have a off market deal where the competition isn’t there. It will happen. Just gotta trust.

Hi all,

I’m in the process of buying a duplex but my wife (boss) advising against it because of hyperinflation. I’ve been trying to research and read up on hyperinflation with real estate. A lot of it isn’t good news. I do see inflation is on the rise but how bad would it be to my 1st rental property? She’s thinking people won’t be able to pay rent. People won’t have enough to feed themselves. While I think this is slim but hey anything can happen right? We are in uncharted territory with Corona and the how the housing market is now. Any thoughts lady and gents? Buy or not to buy?

Good stuff everyone. Thanks for all the input. I think @Samuel Proctor is right. Make a decision, see what happens. Worst case it’s not that expensive to replace. Seems like there’s some demand from the tenants wanting them so I’m going to keep them. Thanks everyone who responded!

I’m going to rehab my rental unit. I want to remove the popcorn ceiling and thinking what to do with the ceiling fan. Just one less thing to fix if it breaks in a rental. Any thoughts?
