Rehabbing a smokers house

Hi, I’m looking to invest in a duplex where the previous owner was a heavy smoker. I saw a lot of posts on using Kilz and Vinegar and cleaning the Hvac and replacing the carpets. I’m out of state so can anyone share how much cleaning out a smoking unit costed them? Any additional recommendations would be nice. We were thinking to leave the kitchen cabinets but after reading some more, it seems like everything needs to go just to be safe? This would be in Tennessee if that helps.

All soft surfaces go. Carpets drapes etc.

TSP wash the walls. Ozonate the heck out of it for days and days. Likely a week or better depending on what size machine you use. Killz restorer on bare floors and walls and ceiling. Paint that bad boy.

Treat any pet stains with enzymatic neutralizer while the carpets are out.

This will solve all but the worst of the worst hoarder/ animal/ smoking problems. Even in warm climates.
