If you're interested in reading more about LLC vs C-corp, I like Garrett Sutton's book, "Start Your Own Corporation". Garrett is one of the Rich Dad Advisors and I found it a pretty easy and (surprisingly) entertaining read.

We use the network realwealthnetwork.com (based out of CA, incidentally!) for our out-of-state turn-key investments. It's free to belong and they offer lots of free education as well. :-)

We've used Chemical Bank for all four of our investment properties so far. There isn't one here where we live (that I know of), but it was recommended to us by our real estate network and they do financing in most states so we've done everything online with them.

Our first deal was a turn-key buy-and-hold that we found through realwealthnetwork.com.

Congratulations on getting started so young! I know there are tons of us here on BP who wish we would have gotten started much younger. Very admirable!

Good luck on your real estate journey!

I did it all through The Document Center, Inc., online and through the mail, which was recommended to me by Corporate Direct (one of the Rich Dad Advisor's companies). The forum won't let me put the contact info in the post, but if you google "The Document Center, Inc., Glendale CA" it will come up.

You are correct. There is no such thing as a "national housing market". I like to listen to the podcast, "Real Estate News for Investors with Kathy Fettke" to keep up on what's going on with the real estate industry, in general, and Kathy frequently highlights U.S. markets that are still "emerging", even as others in the national seem to have peaked. I highly recommend the podcast!

Brandon just did a webinar on how to get started with BRRR earlier this week. You can still catch it in the webinar archives if you check it out soon--I'm not sure how long they keep the previous webinars out there!

Hi DeNya,

If you like to read real estate books and you are interested in multi-family, you may be interested in Ken McElroy's books: "The ABCs of Real Estate Investing" and "The Advanced Guide to Real Estate Investing". Both of those books were super informational and inspirational to me!

Good luck on your journey!

We use Foremost for our buy-and-hold, and I've heard that company mentioned on the BP podcast too, but I'm not sure about the rehab part. Guessing they'd do that too...
