Please explain? or do you just not like money...

Jason, I wanted to give you a heads up that Airbnb will sue you over your website name. I own several Airbnb domain names and the lawyer letters are coming fast and furious. Just an FYI

This is literally the most insane thing I have read in weeks. Every one of my properties can be converted to an LTR in every market we are in.

We are definitely focused on other hosts. Legislation is coming to our communities and we have to be ready.

@Matt Ayoub Expedia is not all happy with their investment in the Homeaway portfolio. Airbnb is 5 times the size of Homeaway and you can easily conduct a simple research activity. Ask 10 of your friends if they have heard of Airbnb and then ask them if they have heard of VRBO or verbo or whatever stupid rebranding effort they are attempting. Real quick you will see how the platform is going to die. You either evolve or you die.

@Tyann Marcink I have started two groups on Facebook.

Airbnb St. Augustine

Airbnb Ponte Vedra

Not a lot of traffic yet but I plan to build it.

@Wyatt Degaine I think it’s fantastic. Marriott will expand its network of luxury homes which will mean they will come to we, the homeowners. More competition and more access from travelers for our properties. Win win

I think it’s a good market but the prices are ridiculously overheated. You will talk to moronic realtors who don’t own property and they will tell you how it keeps going up and up. Look for great deals because they are there. I think St. Augustine is much better and our properties do extremely well. Ponte Vedra has very few good restaurants and zero night life so that limits your return customers.

@Maria D. The inventory has skyrocketed in the last 24 months. Always deals to be found but purchase wisely as the proverbial “bubble” is here.

@Kenneth Garrett the problem with the redneck riviera and a lot of markets in Florida are the hurricanes and property insurance swings. If the price is right go for it but don’t buy something to barely have it “cover” the expenses.
