@Theresa Harris that’s good to know. Thank you

@Allen McGlashing thanks Allen yes I’m trying to do a flip or possibly a brrrr if I can pull out most of my initial investment.

Hi, is it a good idea to use a hard money lender in Omaha Nebraska?

@Nick Wimmel

Hey I’m in Santa Maria, orcutt area. Let’s connect :)

Rebecca congratulations on a successful flip! I'm looking to get into the cincinnati market and would love to connect with you!

@Remington Lyman unfortunately I don’t think there is much work in my line of work in that area (that I know of) but I am looking at OH for my first out of state rental. Columbus vs Cincinnati vs Cleveland what is your take?

@Stephen Brown thank you Stephen. To be honest I’m hoping I can start investing in OH at some point this year. I hear Cincinnati is great for cash flow.

@Ben Tilbury that’s a great tip thank you. Initially I wouldn’t rent by the room but when I move out that would be a good option.

If we decide on it I will be moving from Seattle with my family so preferably will be on the hunt for a duplex instead of renting by the room on a large sfh.

I have not talked to a lender yet as I'm still working out the job situation. Right now it's between Lompoc and LA area. Would prefer central coast if numbers make sense in the area. I'll be leveraging capital from the sale of my SFH here in Seattle to use as down.

Any lenders you recommend that I should talk to when it’s time?

Do you have access to off-market properties?

Hello, wondering what house hacking strategies work in the Central California Coast - Lompoc, Buellton, Santa Maria, Orcutt, Vandenberg, Grover Beach, Goleta to be exact.

Looking at the area for a potential move and would like to get into a duplex / small multi. Any insight from locals would be welcomed. Thanks!
