@Anthony Chara Hi Anthony,

That sounds great. I'd be more than happy and thankful to attend a luncheon. I really appreciate you reaching out and inviting me!

@Dan Mackin that sounds great. I could make it up there by 6pm. I usually get off work at 5pm. Any advice would be very helpful and I'm very much looking forward to meeting and networking with you!

Hello all,

I'm newer to the BP community located in the Denver, Thornton area. I'm currently a student at MSU Denver with about a year left to crank out. I'm just curious to see what's working for you as investors in Denver's hot market? I'm working at North Valley Bank in Thornton as a loan assistant. I don't have too great of an income but still very fortunate to do what I do as a student and very thankful. I currently rent at an apartment for $1400/mo which is a bruiser. Just looking for advice in terms of where I might be able to begin. Strategies, location, should I try to partner up with someone to kick start the process, anything would be valuable to me. Of course, finding a mentor would be fantastic. I still have lots to learn and am very excited too. I'm just looking ahead a little bit and am very appreciative of anyone's advice.

Thank you!

Elliott

Hello everyone,

My name is Elliott and I'm a student majoring in business management in my final year at Metropolitan State University of Denver. I'm also a full-time loan assistant at North Valley Bank in Thornton, CO. At North Valley Bank I've been fortunate to meet a lot of the local property investors and builders that we do business with.

I've always been intrigued in investing, particularly real estate. First and foremost, I want to learn as much as I possibly can. My short-term goals include educating myself by learning from people who've done it, buying my first property to live in so that I can begin building my own equity and networking. There are so many of you who are successful and what you offer is so valuable that I would be foolish not to take advantage of it.

My long-term goals are to become an investor. Obviously, we all want financial freedom and I'm no different. I would also love the opportunity to become a mentor to people who are standing right where I am now. A lot of times it's not about where you end up, but the journey there. I've read some success stories and each are unique in ways. I'd love to be writing one of those stories in the future to help someone else see that it can be done.

The work of learning is just beginning but I'm not afraid and don't require any added motivation. Life it too short. I'm excited to learn from you and to get started.

Have a blessed day everyone!

Elliott

@Kevin Bellavance Congratulations!! I'm happy for you. I'm looking to get into it once I finish college within this next year and have a more stable W-2 income. Analysis paralysis has always been an issue for me. Takes time to get over it! I'm happy for your success. All the best.
