Is on the second floor of 6 floor building. Inside the apartment complex. There is no way I can install skylight

Hi all, anyone has idea how to bring in sunlight into a north facing apartment.

Since north facing window has no direct Sun light at all. And is an apartment so I don’t have backyard nor balcony nor can make a skyline.

Thinking about putting two mirrors on the side of window to bring the Sun light. No sure if works.

Sun light is important for me

anyone has any good idea. Thank you

Thank you for your replies, is an apartment located in New York. So there is no way I can add a skylight or solar tube nor a window. Might be add a mirror inside to bring the lights from outside? That’s only way I can think of it.

They are two different building. Might be one location is slightly better than the other, but is same to me. Also condition I actually think they are similar, the north face one might even be solidly better in my opinion.

Hi, my family are deciding which home to purchase between those two. And we are hesitated which one to choose. Can anyone advice
both is about same price and similar location.

property 1) almost all window facing north ( no direct Sun light , but is about 1000 square feet and feel about 30% bigger than property 2

property 2) all window facing south, direct Sun light all day, but is about 800 square feet and feel 30% smaller compare to propoerty 1.

which one would you choose if you are facing those two decisions.

thank you

Thank you Andrew, where is the bill to be pushed? Is there anything we can do to stop that bill. Is so unfair to landlords

Just confirming that is legal to give her no lease renewal in New York City

As of now, yes it is.  There is a bill being pushed through Albany that might change this "sigh" but for now you are okay to not renew.  Also, if she is threatening you, I would definitely replace her.  Sounds like the opposite type of person you want in your asset.

Just confirming that is legal to give her no lease renewal in New York City

Hi all, is it legal to sent out no renewal of lease for a tenant that I had for 4 years. She is paying rent late on the 6-8th of every month. Only pay late fee when I ask her to.

What I search is I need to give her 90 days notice and let her know I am not renewing her lease. She got new job in past two year that’s working on politics office. Like local senator office for some distric manager.  One time we had some issues she mention she will reach out to her senator to ask. I told her I will reach out to my senator too. Altho nothing happens, That doesn’t make me very happy.

Just worried about broke in or stolen on the apartment, if they know you are kind of well off. Just my personal finance is really none of my neighbores business.

Thank you for your reply, I know how coop works. Just the factor I am uncomfortable having neighbores know about 20 units I own.
