hello guys,

I have been a home builder for a private part, but now in launching my own business on San Antonio, TX.

As a home builder i recently received a loan. My questions are the following:

If i got a balloon repayment loan i would be making monthly payments of $1566.24 (12months) plus $9,000 of interest.

At the end of the year when I do my taxes can i count the interest that i paid as an expense? So i dont get taxed for that amounth?

Thank you

Hello guys,

I recently got a loan from a private lender. As an engineer I have experience on buying a lot and building residential homes on it without issues. However as far as selling a have a couple questions.

1. When i sell the house I include the Texas tax of 8.25% on the final price?

2. If a financial institution is direclty paying me his client loan for my home usually how long does it take to get the money?

Thank you

Hello @Kit England,

My brother and I who we both are engineers, wanted to start a home builder bussiness together. Money was the issue since we do not had to much to starts, and thats why we decided to start as general contractor. As far as right now we are working for a real estate company remodeling thwir homes. My question is how to get more leads? We currently have all our internet network pages online, and we even more jobs from the same company(im assumi g thats because we do good job). We totally have people as subcontractors thats been on the bussiness for a while. Can you tell me how you got starte, and as a real estate what are the main thing you look on a contractor?

Thank you
