I have been in the military for over... 11 years going on 12. I have been active in RE investing since 2006, when I bought my first house. I have found it EXTREMELY difficult to continue investing, while I am deployed. Any military members out there that have continued their investing while deployed? What strategy have, do you use?

I know a forum isn't exactly the place for long drawn out discussions or answers, so I can be reached via email edwin.epperson at gmail decimal com. Thanks in advance.

I am not in a job where we constantly have connection to the internet, I am typically deployed to austere locations, so those with this type of experience I would GREATLY appreciate your input/ advice

@Christina Phillips

I know what you mean about getting out. My first marriage didn't work (after 8yrs and two beautiful boys) and I will be exiting after 13yrs in. Already getting a lot of pressure to stay in; your almost there, your on the down slope, your so close to retirement just tough it out. But my passion has been RE even before I joined. I am familiar with Columbus Christina, as that's where my boys live. Excellent place for a beginning multi-family investor. Best of luck to you God Bless.

Thanks Ken, Brandon. I'll do that, adding keywords. Ken I do have a question regarding VA financing. What if I already have a VA loan, yet want to purchase a tri-plex/ quad-plex here in Florida? Obviously the specifics can be answered by a Mortgage Broker who is familiar with VA financing, so I guess more specific question to you is do you know any M.B. that specialize in VA loans?

Not really, but definitely to the site. I have a small bit of RE experience not near as much as I would like to have had by now. I am in the military, in the Green Berets, and I am often gone. SO as much as I would like to physically invest I can not. However, I will be exiting the military within a year and half and will be pursuing a higher education with a BS of Business, specializing in investing. Hope to start posting soon and will be asking question very specifically geared toward private mortgage investing.
