Investing while in the military

I have been in the military for over... 11 years going on 12. I have been active in RE investing since 2006, when I bought my first house. I have found it EXTREMELY difficult to continue investing, while I am deployed. Any military members out there that have continued their investing while deployed? What strategy have, do you use?

I know a forum isn't exactly the place for long drawn out discussions or answers, so I can be reached via email edwin.epperson at gmail decimal com. Thanks in advance.

I am not in a job where we constantly have connection to the internet, I am typically deployed to austere locations, so those with this type of experience I would GREATLY appreciate your input/ advice
