Quote from @Ana Vhan:

Hi,

We own a couple of homes in the country and have first hand seen how difficult it is to manage the rentals remotely.

Now, we are looking into going the passive investment route. We like single family, apartment, multi-family type investments. But don't want to purchase and manage anymore. What are some less complicated ways to go about passive investment? Just started reading about the crowdfunding platforms like fundrise and crowdstreet. Are these platforms a way to go or are there any other ways?

Thank you. Appreciate your inputs.

Thanks!

Have you looked into any "full-service" investment groups? They pretty much do exactly what you are looking for.

This or you can get involved in a "pooled" investment (not my favorite option) but depending on the deal this might work as well

Rachel, I can give you some great names of custodians. I'll PM you with contact info for them.

Can you provide me the same please?

Hey guys, I am new (to posting, not reading) to this platform -- Just wanted to see/network with other investors who were using their SDIRAs to invest in real estate.

I'm interested to hear who you use as a custodian (any pros and cons you can provide would be great!) as well how you are investing -- fix and flip, buy and holds, etc?

Look forward to great conversation

Post: 7 Break-ins in 2 months! -- HELP!

We have currently had 7 break-ins in the past 2 months... The homes are normally post punch-list and ready to list -- The appliances are normally the things that go missing, one home was in reno and the new flooring was taken. We have a project manager that we assume is to blame but my question is how to catch him?

I've looked into GPS trackers for the appliances.

GPS tracker for his truck.

Different security cameras for the properties.

Game cameras to hid around the properties.

Has anyone had similar issues? and do you have any recommendations on any of the measures listed above? or do you have your own methods?

Any help is appricated!
