@Dimitri Jean-pierre Welcome to BP, this place is a goldmine for newbie like us. if you haven't done so, I  would highly recommend you start by watching the course for beginners, link below. I'm no expert, I still have a long way to go but if you have any question feel free to DM me.

I'm fairly new to the real estate investing in the Orlando, Florida area. I’ve been reading the forum and other real estate investing books religiously, but I still have a lot to learn. I’m ready to invest in my first property. I would like my first property to be a multi-family where I can apply the house hacking strategy.

My questions are

  • 1.How do I know if I’m getting a good deal on a property?  what numbers should I be looking for when I do a property analysis?
  • 2.What’s the ideal price range should I be looking for in the Orlando market?
  • 3.And do I need to find house first then find financing for it? or should it be the other way around?

Thanks in advance

Hi everyone I’m Duverson Jean located in the Orlando Florida. First off let me start by saying that this website is a gold mine. I’m so thankful for stumbling upon it. Forgive me if I post in the wrong spot, I’m still learning my way around. I am brand new to real estate investing. I’ve always had an interest in it but believed in the myth that I needed my own money to start investing.

I recently attended a meet-up event It turned out to be a big sales pitch for their educational program and to be part of their community.
I just finished watching the first course “A beginner’s introductions to Real Estate Investing”. Very educational, if you are brand new to real estate investing and haven’t watch it, I highly recommend it.
I’m looking to connect with fellow investors and other like-minded individuals in the Orlando Florida area If you’ guys can point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated.
