@Dimitri Jean-pierre you can start by digging around the web site but the problem is that you don't even know what you don't know. I recommend reading some books. START HERE

You don't need to read all of them but try to read a couple a month (or more) until you start grabbing some basic concepts. Then you can jump on the forum and ask questions.

Another - even better - option is to find a local real estate investing group and start attending the meetings and networking. Offer to help experienced investors by running errands for them, helping find deals, swinging a hammer, or whatever it is they need. If you do well, they'll take you under their wing and teach you the trade. You'll learn much more and much faster through this technique.
