Hey @Benjamin Poole , I'm actually looking for the same thing. I've heard our best bet is the Atlanta REIA. Their main meeting is the first Monday of each month at 5p. Maybe I'll see you there!

Thanks for sharing, @Andrew Cordle . Can't wait to see what you do with these houses! I lived in and fixed up a house in East Atlanta several years ago and really enjoyed it. There are some beautiful houses with a lot of potential over there!

Welcome to the site, @Layla Rahm ! Sounds like you've done really well in your investments already. I'm new to the site as well and have lived in ATL for about 15 years. Just now taking action in RE investment and learning as much as I can, but if I can help please let me know.

Good luck with your move. We just made the move to the SF Bay Area and back all within a year!

Post: Choosing a Paint Color and Brand

As far as brands go, the architects and paint subcontractors I work with in my day job all swear by Benjamin Moore when it comes to quality and coverage. That being said, BM is usually more expensive than other brands. We used it in our primary residence and love how it turned out. I have also used Sherwin Williams on many Healthcare projects where the client specifically asked for SW due to its durability in a hospital environment.

Many painters will suggest a certain brand because they get a better discount with them than other brands. All depends on the painter's relationship to the local distributor. And of course, if you found a color you like in a certain brand, the painter (or you) can always match that color in a different brand.

Hope that helps!

As a newbie to BP, I can't comment on the old website, but I can say that the new site is great...easy to navigate, good visual layout and SO much valuable content! Been fumbling my way around the basics of the site for the past few days and look forward to digging deeper into the full functionality. Thanks for all you do, guys!!
