I would suggest going to the smaller county meetings and focus groups if you're focused on networking, the general meetings can be kind of a zoo.

You'll definitely want to connect with @Ryan Kopczyk, he runs an investor friendly title company and I know they close a lot of wholesale deals.

I would also strongly suggest partnering up with an experienced wholesaler, especially on your first few deals.

Thanks a lot for sthe feedback Andrew, I did attend the general meeting back in June and yes it was a bit overwhelming. Both @Samantha VanNorman and I have enrolled into the REIA earlier this week. Very excited to network with so many professionals here in the Central Florida area,

Hello All,

I'm a new investor in Orlando, FL. I would love to orchestrate some time to meet with investors in the area and get to know more about the industry. I attended the Central Florida Real Estate meeting, but it was a bit overwhelming with many attendees, so I would love to get more one-on-one time. If anyone is interested in getting coffee or planning a time to meet, it would be much appreciated!

I have no problem introducing you though. There is one that many of the Osceola CFRI members keep raving about. I can find out more about him at tomorrow's meeting.

Certainly sounds like a great additional resource to look into! In regards to the contractor problem, I've had bad luck and next to nothing in responses.

As I'm starting my real estate investing practice, I am constantly seeking other real estate investors. I attended my first REIA event here in Central Florida this past Wednesday and was able to meet some people. Any suggestions on to where to find other investors besides Bigger Pockets and REIA?

Also, getting in contact with reliable general contractors is a problem that I have been facing for the past 3 weeks. I am wondering if anyone around this area would know of a good company?
