Central Florida is a great place to invest. I am a full time Investor and a Realtor as well based here in Orlando, You could not pick a better online resource to educate yourself. A word to the wise:in your first couple of months at your local REIA meetings, make sure you leave your checkbook at home, until you decide what path you wish to take. There will be many people pitching many educational and coaching programs, and you can pick up a lot for free just by attending the different meetings.

To your success!

Hi Everyone thank you all so much for reaching out! I have been taking the route that many of you have suggested so its great to get that verification. Chris I have gone to to REIA meetings since June so I know exactly what you are talking about appreciate the great advice! Look forward to networking with you.

After hours of networking, months of reading, and  months of raising capital.... We were able to launch our first wave of letters to Absentee! Our list is 1200 total and sending out 250 "handwritten" postcards every 2 weeks! I wanted to thank a group of wholesalers JC and Tammy Gauthier from First Step Partners who are very active here on BP. None of this would have been possible without their guidance and mentoring so thank you guys! Besides doing this, I was trying to do additional research on other ways of reaching out to potential sellers. I have cold calling, driving for dollars, and click ads...though I still do not know too much about the process just yet. Wanted to see if there other resources I might have forgotten. Any advice is much appreciated!

 To you as well Steve!

Well I attend the meetings for our REIA here in Orlando and this is where it all began for Chris, I have asked others who have attended his seminars in the past and a lot of people have actually praised his methods. Certainly have to be open to learning a method that is different than the norm.

I saw Chris at our CFRI here in Orlando a few months ago and decided to attended his TERMS seminar two weeks after. The introduction meeting to his strategy is certainly enough to intrigue you on his strategy so I would agree that the $20 will be spent well. It's really in the seminar where he dives into the strategy for us, it was an 8 hour seminar. Of course by the end of it is when he brings in the "packaged deal". I did not purchase it at the end, but would certainly suggest attending if you want to learn about different Buy & Hold strategies.

Hey everybody,

I recently attended a class called, "The Exclusive Real Estate Millionaire System (TERMS)." It was taught by Chris McClatche, and I bought the class through the CFRI. As expected, they offered a course at the end of the class to continue education about creative financing for buy-and-holds, and it costs around 1k.

Has anyone taken or heard about this course before? I really enjoyed the initial class and got a lot out of it. I just want to do some research before putting out the money. Any insight would be appreciated!

Hello Everyone,

My name is David I'm from Orlando,FL and I have decided to actively pursue my interests in the real estate industry. My full time job at the moment is an engineering recruiter for a company called Aerotek. With how much my schedule fluctuates on a day to day basis, I have a hard time balancing out the two. So this is certainly a work in progress.

The strategy I'm pursuing right now is wholesaling in Orange and Seminole County. Some of the immediate steps I have taken is join the local REIA here in Central Florida to start networking with other professionals. I listen to the podcasts on a daily basis and have read the the Ultimate Beginners Guide to Real Estate Investing and currently reading Rich Dad Poor Dad . I have also created a business plan for the my wholesaling business. Just for timing reasons I won't go into everything in it but would love to speak with people individually about it. I'm excited to network with investors all across America and learn best practices. Thanks for your time!
