I am closing on my first SFR today. Now to get it rented. 3 bed 1 /2 bath. I have an add on Craigslist without much response. Suggestions?

When purchasing from a rehabber what steps need to take place.  I have taken the property info to my local bank.  Ran the numbers with the calculator.  Going to have an inspection.  How does this transaction flow without an agent?

I have a call scheduled for Oct 12.  Speaking with Larry so I guess  Clayton doesn't have time to screen or pitch.  This would be my first purchase and the key for me would be tk and hands off.   Can't find much on reviews.  

I am shopping for a new accountant/CPA/wealth advisor in the St Louis market.  Newbie to RE investing but as I own a  small business my current accountant doesn't understand real estate and has been late in filing my taxes the last couple of  years.    Got fined this year for his lack of not filing on time.

I am prequalified with a small local bank.   Still working on our strategy as we look at properties every day.  Our age plays a big part in how we invest.  I am 61 and wife is 59 so long term for us is 15 years.  Listening to several podcasts each day.  

Question for the locals.  What area of St Louis would be a good area for us to start investing?

  Wife is retiring as a school teacher in May so we are looking for a few rentals to have projects to work on and make some income.  Dave Ramsey fan for several years and debt free.  Looking to use some of our leverage.
