@Anthony Gayden

I’ll look into It, Im not familiar with that but using the equity I have would be helpful to get moving before the 5 years

We were trying to purchase a triplex when we used the assistance but the deals on the market were not that great and we had 60 days to find a house or the grant expired.

@Anthony Gayden thank you for your honesty. I really wish I was able to do that. I just bought a home but with the down payment assistance program I used I have to live in the house for 5 years then after the 5 year period I can practically do whatever. But 5 years is way to long so I’ll work on saving up for it. Thanks again.

Hello,

I found some deals on foreclosures in my area that will be going to auction soon. I would like to wholesale them. I have a few cash buyers but I’m unfamiliar with the process of wholesaling foreclosed properties.

Does anyone have links to where I could learn more about this?

@Kenneth Reimer thank you, I will take your advice.

I notice your from Sacramento, is there a Sacramento REIA? I've been looking and haven't found one that doesn't scream mlm.

What is the best way to get started?

Initially, I thought If I begin wholesaling I can obtain the money to purchase for a buy and hold. I currently don't have the money to do it on my own and the I've been searching for a REIA and my area (sacramento) and haven't found one.

I'm willing to go to a Bay Area REIA but in the meantime I'd still like to be educating myself and creating an execution plan.
