Thank you for the response @Johan Chabrel  I like to run the gc part of things myself and just hire subs but this is my first one in Suffolk so I'd love any sub recommendations you might have and will PM you. Yes regarding Patchogue as it's become a fun town and I am looking to move there myself as I like it so much! 

Hey @John Cushing.  I just bought the property last week but I'll be there at least every other day and will be all over it. I act as my own GC and do all the ordering and purchasing myself so that I only need to pay for labor. I do need good local contractors though so please let me know if you can recommend anyone. Thanks!

Hi all.  Wondering if there are any local contractors on the site or investors who have used any contractors in Suffolk county they can recommend?  I'm looking specifically for bathroom and kitchen remodeling, flooring and painting for a property I have under contract in Holtsville and another coming up soon in Patchogue.  Thanks!

Hi @Spencer Trotman. I think it depends quite a bit on the types of properties you work with. I am a lover of ugly homes and rehabs so I deliberately chose an REO brokerage to work for and then working with investors followed pretty seamlessly as they are my main market. So go with what you like most and best of luck!
