@Nicholas Sawyer

Hey Nick, welcome to the BIggerPockets platform. Tons of great information for beginners out there and plenty of people available to help.

I imagine you’re looking for buy and hold investments as a way to build passive income. Depending on where you’re investing, you’ll get varying degrees of cash flows and appreciation. Rental property can be a great way to diversify your investment portfolio while adding higher monthly cash flow.

Please let me know if I can help in anyway!

Regards,

DJ Richmond

Hey Michal, there’s quite a bit of us out there in just about any geographic area of MA. What part of Massachusetts are you located?

Biggerpockets keeps deleting it on this thread, so I had to create one on the events tab. Here is the link to that thread:

Hey @Nicholas R Murray welcome to BiggerPockets! This community provides tons of help, support, guidance, and knowledge out there so try to absorb as much as possible!  I was running monthly meet-ups in the south shore prior to this pandemic and we are planning a zoom meeting next week, it may be beneficial if you're able to jump in on it.

Another area you may want to consider would be Attleboro and North Attleboro. There's typically pretty decent value down there and more inventory to choose from. I'd also recommend having a conversation with a loan officer so you can understand your financing and what your preapproval limits would look like.

@Dan Malvey

Hey All, it sounds like there is a good amount of interest for this! How would next Tuesday at 5 pm work for everyone to do a zoom meeting?
