Ryan E. hey what's going on man? Thanks for bringing that up. You are 100% correct. You can get so focused on success and forget about the more important things. I am sometimes guilty of that and find it hard to balance not just family, but also neglecting myself at times. That is a big challenge.

Linda D. Thank you for your response. I completely get where you're coming from. Work on the small things to build up to the big picture.

Paul Hitchings Hey Paul, thanks for the motivation. I am brand new just starting out. I am in the process of looking for my first house hack using an FHA loan. I've also started a direct mail campaign to find motivated sellers. Just grinding man working on setting up processes.

I can speak for myself in doing business in general. As a black male in the business world i am sometimes treated differently. I don't let it discourage me because all aren't the same. I've had situations where I bought along a "Caucasian" friend and they approached him before approaching me and didn't even acknowledge me. It seems as if we aren't taken as serious in the business world. I've also had instances where I walk into and establishment and they'll just look and not acknowledge me. Once they do acknowledge me it's more of a rude welcoming. I never let this change my attitude towards anyone I meet. I don't care about race, age, gender, etc. I treat everyone with respect, that's the same way I expect to be treated. I'm not saying we are the only ones discriminated against, I can only speak from personal experiences.

Matt Buroni have you tried contacting local businesses? Coffee shops, beauty shops, convenience stores, etc.? See if the local business owners will allow you to leave some business cards in their establishment.

Steve B. Hard work is a must. I always say, "the dream is free, hustle sold separately"

Jack B. This mindset isn't for everybody. You need those people in the world. There are employers then there are employees.

Jd Martin thanks for your response. It's it so much of a status symbol, its more of personal satisfaction. I don't care about fame(I don't even like people to know who I am with my other business). I love the feeling of achieving my goals, I hope everyone feels the same way. Despite my ambitions I am very humble, down to earth and the coolest person you'll ever meet. I'll give a homeless man the jacket off my back. These goals are there for my inspiration, to remind me to keep going. I want to close a deal per week for a few reasons. Not just financial freedom, but to continue to create opportunities for me to be in the position to help others feed their families and give people opportunities to change their lives. If I'm closing a deal a week then that means that I have work that needs to be done and create those opportunities. I want to help as many people as I can on my journey. I'm still learning myself, I want to be that person that gave someone a chance that changed their lives. I want an island resort, I'm not stuck on Fiji, but I love South Pacific region despite the conditions. I'll worry about the specific location once I cross that path, whatever makes sense in the market at the time and also some place that I'll enjoy. I want to be able to vacation there and write it off. Owning part of an NBA team has always been a dream of mines, and I'm determined to get one before I lever this earth. I think WE can make it happen.

Jack B. Great point, sometimes you outgrow people, this journey isn't for everybody. P.S. I'd like to come visit for steak and lobster too. Lol

Caleb Heimsoth I agree. Don't move ahead of myself and focus on the task(s) at hand
