Marketing with business cards

Hello,

I am a new investor looking to start wholesaling in Massachusetts. I am in the process of getting business cards for marketing purposes now. I was wondering if there are any restrictions on where these cards can be placed. Specifically, can these cards be place on house doors/windows, cars, or mailboxes? Is it legal to place something to market your business on other people's property?

Just wanted to ask around before I get hit with a fine for doing so. Any specific information about laws/ regulations for Massachusetts is much appreciated, but of course anyone with any input at all is very much appreciated as well.

Thanks very much,

-Matt

Matt Buroni I've done that before, but I stopped about 20 years ago. So I guess I'm getting old!

I might be overthinking this but it is what's it is.

I think a business card should be given out like an opportunity. I don't want to give one to everyone I meet and if I do then they aren't that valuable. When I'm looking for off market properties I give out 1 card to each person that owns a house in the area that I'm buying. I've found a ton of deals this ear and it was mostly word of mouth.

If I'm dealing with plumbers and electricians, carpenters or even realtors I get their number. I think the trick is to not have your phone ring off the hook with BS but definitely give a prospect a card, as in one!

If you give them 2 it takes the value out of it.
