Hi Everyone

I would like to get my second bathroom remodeled; however, I don't know what route to go in.  Do I hire a handyman to replace the tub, sheet-rock, and vanity and then hire a tile guy to do the tile.  Or do I hire a hire a handyman to do everything and let them find the help they need to compete the whole job themselves.  Don't know which route to follow, please help. Thank you.

Hi Everyone

I am pondering the idea of replacing the carpet on the first floor in my personal residence  with either laminate, tile, or engineered hard would.  The home is in the low 200's in the Austin market. Can someone tell me the pros and cons of each product. This will be highly appreciated. Thank you

Thanks Kevin for your insight into the Killeen market, I think the numbers work perfectly for by and hold, I just wasn't sure about the constant turn over with the troops up in the your area. I also asked an investor from my REIA about investing up there; however, I was told Killeen is a waste of time. Grant it the person I asked is a flipper. Thanks again for your insight, you are much appreciated.

Austin real estate in appreciating in value faster than I have ever seen.  I would like to try and invest in Killeen which has a softer market; however, the tax assessor's record shows that a lot of properties are decreasing in value.  Can someone give me an insight if this is a good market for buy and hold. I want to invest for income.
