@Matt Motil

That's what i was actually looking into, duplex, triplex, fourplexs.

Considering i don't have much capital yet, would it be reasonable for someone my age to apply for a FHA loan since its a low down payment of 3.5%.

@Jerryll Noorden

I agree Jerryll its all about doing and learning along the way. Learning along the way truly builds your character and your experience.

But it all comes down to making money, i know my plan its just the matter of executing my plan and not being afraid to fail.

@Joe P.undefined

I definitely needed to re-evaluate my question. I agree though that its always important to determine your goal first before anything.

My goal for this year aka (short term goal) is be able to acquire 3 rental properties to provide cash flow and build equity to invest into more properties. My long term goal is to also be able to quit my full time job and go full force with real estate investing . My goal would be obtaining multiple rental properties and be able to do multiple fix and flips at the same time. It would be more than great to become a lender to other investors in future.

Also all depending on how my strategy goes, I do plan on staying at home for the next 5 years to save money!

Hello Everyone!

As being a young driven 22 year old i decided  to start my journey on real estate investing. I currently work full time and live at home with my parents and want to utilize this opportunity! I've browsed through some forums and beginner guides and began building my knowledge on the industry. What would be the ideal investment strategy in my position of working full time and living at home with my parents?

Would appreciate to hear some stories with other individuals that were in my position!

Thank you!
