@Dave Hurt can you provide information on your direct mail campaign that gets you the wholesale leads; I would like to start generating income wholesaling with future intentions of getting into rentals.

Seems we are in the same situation, I am also interested in learning about investing to escape the cubicle life.  I also work as a real estate agent part time, which has provided some insight in the real estate business and now I want to learn the investing side of the business.

Both, I don't mind working with investors.  Working with them may help me better understand the business.  My goal is to become an investor in a year or so; and if I can do it sooner that would be great as well.

Let me begin by saying, I am glad I ran across this site and I look forward to networking and making building new friendships.

A little about myself; I retired from the Army last year and decided to make Charlotte home.  I am now a Real Estate Broker that deals in residential properties in Charlotte and all surrounding cities.  I assist clients in both buying and selling homes.   

My goal is to become an investor; purchasing residential properties to fix and flip as well as buy and hold to use as rental properties.
