@Roy N.

Thanks for this information, Roy. I'm going to start making phone calls and see what information I can get, and start networking with locals more.

@Chris Baxter

This is true. I am not planning on owner occupying for too long though, just to get started. I am just looking for solid investment opportunities for the future within in Atlantic Canada because I know I want to stay here. I have family pretty much all over NB, PEI and NS.

Yes, I live in PEI. I am planning on buying a 4-6 unit to house hack in the near future. Just trying to get my feet wet and start to look at areas that are worth looking at in PEI, NB and NS. Thanks for the response!

Anyone with experience investing in Atlantic Canada, where are the best places to buy multi family units that cash flow well?

Lots of helpful information in there, thanks! I figured something was up considering the prices in some areas of the City. I would be ok with rehabbing the property. Just don't want to get stuck in something that I'm unfamiliar with and are regretting soon after.

@Jason Gaunce

Hey, thanks for the information! My plan will to be to househack a 3 or 4 unit and cash flow at least $100 a door. I'm currently in PEI but I have family in Saint John and plan to move there after I'm done with school. Currently working on saving for a down-payment and reserves and building my credit.

I am looking for information for investing in Saint John. I have noticed that multi family investments are very cheap, and the majority are of the older style. I've heard the reasons from this vary from its an older city in general so it can cost more to up keep from some of the cheaper areas being on the unsafe side. I appreciate any insight. Thank you.

@Nathan G.
