@Brian Adams

Thank you Brian, this is very helpful.

@Brian Adams

Would you say a goal of making 10K a month just on passive income be a reasonable “WHY”? That’s what I’m aiming for and just making sure it’d fit the criteria of this.

@Clive Duncan

I’m very interested in New Brunswick, and have seen a few good deals in the Fredericton area. Please feel free to connect.

@Kirbi Campbell

House hack my first investment property in Saint John, NB

Hello everyone! I’ve been aggressively saving up and educating myself over the past 1 1/2 years by listening to podcasts, watching YouTube videos and reading a few suggested books in the forum. I’ve also been running numbers on properties and trying to get into the habit of knowing what a good deal looks like.

I’m looking to take the next step and talk with other investors in this area, and searching for good realtors, brokers and banks to deal with specifically in the Moncton, Saint John and Bathurst areas as I find they always have good numbers. I know there’s some areas in Saint John specifically that are well known for not being the “nicest” areas to live.

If any of you are around this market, shoot me a message! I’d love to connect with you!

PEI here.. looking to move to NB when I finish school and start investing in Saint John/Moncton as they have much better deals.

@Jeremy Taggart

D property types are common in my area so being hands on would give me some extra confidence in taking it on. I definitely agree more headaches will occur with this type and it's worth it for the cash flow imo. At least to start off to gain some capital like you had mentioned.

@Michael Noto

If you don't mind me asking, what keeps you away from "D" properties?

@Evan Polaski

Yes I love the first point you mention about asking myself if I would live there. I agree there are good people in any income bracket and it really comes down to doing your due diligence. Thank you.
