How do i get the comps on a property? and what is comps?

Hey I'm a new wholesaler in the Metro detroit area I'm looking to do some creative networking with other investors/ wholesalers in the Metro Detroit area lets build a positive profitable business relationship!

Any Whoesalers in michigan I'm having a hard time finding a title company that deals with wholesalers do you know of any good ones around the area?

ok so if the end buyer uses his own title company then my check will be cut from his escrow account to me right?

Ok i have a house under contract, and i have buyer already who i am going to assign the contract to..My question is when i assign the contract to the buyer and he pays me $1000 deposit does he pay the money to my title company? and if my title company holds all the funds who does my check come from at the closing my buyer or the title company? also do we all all close on the property at one time ? ( me, my buyer, and seller)

Hey i 26 years old and I'm new to wholesaling real estate, well I'm knew to real estate period...im trying something new to better my life and my family life I'm from detroit and i saw a opportunity here because houses are really cheap so some how some way i found out about wholesaling properties, Now I'm here and need to no is there anything i need to know? what common mistakes are made when starting out? is there any books i should read?
