Morning All,

I read a lot about virtual and long-distance investing but I know all markets aren't equal. What do you recommend are great ways to research a market? Website, BP (of course), government directories? I'm open to anything but I found myself in a deep rabbit hole with more questions than answers.

Cheers

Still moved, but woulda moved faster if I had buyers already in play in the area. Find buyers first.

This is gold. I never even considered segmenting the buyers first so I can know who I'm looking for.

Thanks for the reply everyone. Definitely helps. I was considering direct mailing via USPS and searching craigslist for my digital offense. In addition, driving for dollars.

Hey All,

I'm just getting started on finding deals. I'm aware of driving for dollars, direct mailing, cold calling, skip tracing, hiring a VA and etc.

Do you recommend using all the methods or focusing on a key 1-2 tactics.

Any insight is appreciated.

Hi all,

I'm currently searching for wholesale deals. Driving for dollars, direct mailing, and etc. Would you recommend find the deal 1st or get a pool of investors first? I guess this is like a which comes first, the chicken or the egg.

I am currently inhaling all the BP Rookies episodes like lunch. I'm head deep in reading the forums. Thanks for the other tips. I need to join the virtual meetups. Looking forward to it.

I'm looking to focus on Michigan as a state and Florida. I'm excited to meet everyone and continue this journey.
