Hey all,

I am a financial advisor and also starting out in RE. I want to instead of going to RE alone, I want to leverage my resources, network, and skillsets to help others build their businesses. I'd like to partner with other REIs but am unsure of where I can add value specifically. I rarely hear REIs discuss working with a financial advisor so I thought I'd just ask. I was considering the following as ways to add value:

1. Connect REIs with other investors who are interested in syndications, being LPs, or providing private financing. Being in my profession, I'm surrounded by investors who are interested in other ways to mobilize their capital.

2. If you're a scaling operation, I can help you set up a SEP IRA, Solo 401K, and retirement systems for your employees. At a certain point, I've noticed that operations need a full-time team and benefits are always a question when employees are looking to take on a role.

I'd like any feedback on the two items mentioned and other areas where REIs do actually seek help from a financial advisor. Your feedback is appreciated.

Cheers!

Hey All,

I'm working on a few wholesale deals. What information do buyers need to know when considering a deal from a wholesaler? What questions should I ask the motivated seller in order to present the most essential information for buyers? I know each deal is different, but what information should I always have on-demand?

Hey All,

I'm new to REI in Detroit. From my research, Detroit seems to be great for cash flow. From your experience, what REI strengths in Detroit? Would it be best to focus on flips, multi-family, STR, or etc?

Hey All,

I'm new to REI and also recently discovered that my parents are willing to fund a project or two as I am starting out. Would you recommend getting family involved earlier in your process or wait until you have a little more experience?

Hey everyone,

I’m just starting out in wholesaling. There’s a market I want to work outside of my primary residence. I’m used to driving for dollars but can’t with long distancing.

What methods are recommended for virtual wholesaling?

Hey all,

I'm still new to REI and want to learn as much as possible. Instead of me throwing money at the wall and seeing what sticks on my own, I want to add value to someone else's operation. I'm familiar with Wholesaling as a way to bring deals to investors. Are there any other ways I can bring value to investors? I thought of wholesaling but wanted to expand to all different forms of property such as finding pre-foreclosures, eviction lists, and more. Also, I have a knack for cold calling. What do you all think?
