@Matt Pich-Maxon @Mike R. @Jennifer Sireika

I'm looking to invest in the big bear area. How is the demand for 4 bedrooms and up? Do the larger properties tend to do better up there?

Thanks!

Hi all,

I purchased a house in Atlanta and I need to replace the HVAC. The house is around 1400 sq ft. How big of an HVAC do I need? I am debating between a 2.5 ton and 3 ton.

Thanks for your help!

@Jason G. love the thread. I had a questions about lenders. I'm looking to purchase my fist property. Any specific lenders you would recommend?

Hi everyone. I am trying to buy my first rental. The next step for me is to get pre-approved. I have an idea on the type of info they are going to ask me but I had a question about my student loans. I have about 30k in federal loans that I have not started paying off yet. So I have not made any payments as of today. Will lenders want to know the amount of outstanding loan or just my monthly payments, if I have any.

Thanks!

Hi everyone,

I have an interesting question. My dad and I are trying to get into real estate investing. My dad has a line of credit of around $200,000 and I have some cash saved for investing. Unfortunately we live in northern San Diego so properties are very expensive. We are trying to figure out the best use of our money. Should we try to find something in San Diego or should we look else where in the US so our investing money can go farther? I guess the pros and cons would be local is a little more hands on for first time investors (less of a return) and I can house hack. Elsewhere possible higher returns but more difficult investing.

Interested to see what you guys think.

Thanks!

Post: What questions do I ask a Realtor?

Hi all,

I am new to investing and I’m curious what I should ask a real estate agent. On most postings the info is limited with few pictures. When I contact the agent what specific questions should I ask? Do I ask for photos or ask how much work it needs?

Any help would be awesome

Thanks!

Derek
