@Todd Rasmussen hello! I'm gearing up for my first BRRR and was getting all the knowledge I can and came across your post. Can I get in on that overview?

Hello everyone, I'm in the beginning stages of becoming a Real Estate Investor and upon my many searches I was directed to PropStream a lot of other wholesaler's and other REI's speak highly of it. So I created a account there is a abundance of information the software provides. I search for properties get all the information I need but what do I do with all this information? I've used it to get my numbers for ARV's and such. Am I on the right path using this software or is it unnecessary for a newbie like me?

Thanks everyone, I'll do my due diligence starting out. I'm in this for the right reasons I don't even want mistakingly screw someone over because of my lack of knowledge. So hopefully this keeps me out of legal trouble

This thread opened my eyes, to be blunt. I'm a wannabe wholesaler and now I see it is frowned upon and at the same time praised. I see both sides; theres shady people who screw people over, there are people who start this blindly and make mistakes that cost people, and there are some who operate 100% ethically and have a grasp on what they are doing and everything is good. I know my intentions are well but after reading through this thread I see I need to be on my P's and Q's. Because a mistake seems like it will cost me my reputation. My goal is to do right by people and make some income along the way. Cant be more open than that

(side note there was a lot of passive aggression in this thread thats not typical of the people in this community, just an observation)

So I’m looking to start in real estate by way of wholesaling properties. I was doing some research and came across that Oklahoma passed a bill a few months ago about predatory wholesaling. I don’t understand legal jargon all that much. But does anyone have more information on this? Will I have to forgo wholesale and get real estate license first?

@Nisim Biton I haven’t done anything in regards to wholesaling. I’ve purchased the suggested softwares to get quality leads but I have so much information it’s a bit overwhelming
