The house is 76 years old. I had Rooto come out but to fix all that they wanted 3k and I don't have that right now. He stated that there are two traps which in most houses outside of Detroit only have one. But he used an inch and 1/2 cutter because that's all he could use with the traps. I asked about Hydro-jetting and he stated not with the lines being trapped. He also recommended Rootx? Have you guys ever used that?

Hey guys, I have a Detroit rental property that has tree roots in the storm and sanitary and both are trapped. Besides tearing the backyard up what other options do I have to remove these root so my tenant will not have a backed up basement?

Hey @Andrew Postell Thanks for the great information. The thing is that I purchased the house with cash and rehab it with cash. I'm actually trying to do a HELOC with the Penfed Credit Union. They stated that the Market Value is 33,290.00. And they'll give me 28K of a HELOC but it's still pending with the underwriters.

Hey, Guys so I purchase my first rental property in Detroit 15K plus closing which came out to 18K and rehab it at 11.5K. I also have a tenant that's paying $775 a month with a one year lease. I was trying to do a cash-out refi but loan was too low. My question is what other steps can I take to pull my cash out this property to be able to purchase another one?

Post: Great advice is needed.

Residential up to 4 units and Intrest rates from 7-13% depending on your credit. Is this a good finance deal on a Cash Out Refi?

I have a rental property and I want to secure it. What security systems do you guys have in place for your rental properties? ADT wants a 36-month contract.
