IE-FHA 203B with Repair Escrow financing availability is subject to buyer's appraisal. Can someone explain what this means? There is a Hud home listed for $6100. And should a 203K streamline be done instead? Ive heard the Streamline is a faster process up to $30,000. This way they can finance the needed repairs and have more funds available to them. Escrow for a 203B can only be used for weather related repairs. What's the best option?

@Lee Scarlett @Rachel Pervis thank you both for replying back. I may be interested in taking over the payments but the landlord has a company managing his properties and they wont let me have any of his contact information. It is a single home. Being pre-approved for a loan may not happen now because I have one repo blemish on my credit report but in a process to get it reporting satisfied or removed. As I was stating he bought the house at 50K and only owes 43K so his payments cant be no were near the rent of $775. So I believe he has 6 months to get it out of foreclosure but cant I do a "subject to" with the Landlord agreeing to the terms and take over the deed?

Hi I need advise or any information to what I should do while renting until my 18 month lease is expired. I've received soliciting papers to my house for a foreclosure to the house I currently live in. The house was sold for 50K and he know owes 43K. I pay $775 in rent so what are my best options here if I tried to take over the property?

If a landlord is in foreclosure and solicitors have been sending letters but the tenant haven't got an official court order stating that the house has been foreclosed on, should tenant still pay rent?
