Hi Andy welcome to the forum,

For sure I would leverage your background in sales - many people dont have it as a strength and so if you are persuasive, then use it to your advantage in deal generation and negotiation. Also your strength in photography naturally lends itself - how about taking photos for agents or airbnb rentals to refine your skill as it relates to property marketing?

RE: the lending process, best thing is to reach out to lenders directly and start networking & asking questions... they are usually more than happy to answer  and all of the ones I've encountered on BP have been especially helpful

Hey Cory welcome to the forum,

have you considered partnering with somebody else and watching a deal while you increase your income?

Hey Jack have you considered partnering with other (newbie?) investors and leveraging their ability to get finance to take part in deals and increase volume of acquisitions

Hey Karen - go onto the marketplace, add a filter for private money lender and filter by your region.

Then check the posts for who is offering finance and see how reputable their profile looks (number of posts/votes, whether they have any recommendations or referrals etc)

This is what I'm doing to find things on this forum

Hope this helps :)

Ah i was just in valencia today! I like the look of the market and spoke to people about deals. Maybe we could collaborate if you are in this market also?

Hi all

I'm new to the BP community and love the podcasts and content so far...

I'm currently researching the UK markets as well as Spain and Portugal looking for whichever options make the most sense for rental income. If anyone is in these markets and wants to share ideas or tips then let's connect!

Strategies I want to employ:

BRRRR

buy and hold

flipping

note investing (maybe at a later stage)

P.s - I have a marketing agency and a long background in sales and marketing so I'm happy to help if anyone has any questions around this topic - feel free to message me.
