Hi guys,

So I’ve been studying RE for some time now and excited to finally get started.

I’m Pre approved now and in search of a Multifamily home to to live in, while renting.

What are some reliable sites to check daily?

Also, is anyone familiar with trying to buy a home and occupy thats CURRENT occupied? Is this possible?

Ive been searching for homes outside of Cleveland (must be a safe and upcoming neighborhood)

Is it best to just focus on homes thats not occupied?

Btw, I would love to connect with ppl whose already started and in the game or ppl like me :)

Any information is helpful.

Thanks for reading.

@Ann Shanley I accepted.

Wow how have the process been with purchasing an assisted living property?

Do you already have rental property?

How did you take that first step?

Thank you!

Hi, Im just starting out in near Cleveland, OH and opened for any advice or suggestions.

I think it would be great to meet and converse with ppl whose goals are similar to mine.

What Im hoping to do in cleveland: My short term goal is to obtain a 2-4 unit home in a decent area, live in one unit while renting the others.

The problem is Ive been seeing plenty on 2-4 units (mostly duplexes) that are already occupied and just ready to “buy”

Ideally I’ll prefer to buy a already occupied home but Im learning that’s where things get tricky with trying to get loan help.

If you know great lenders & realtors to work with for beginners please help a sista out.

I want to be apart of rebuilding my city and of course generating good cash flow.

Thank you for reading.

Thank you for your reply Brian!

I'm scheduled to speak with my bank this week but was curious about other lender opportunities.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Hi, I'm fairly new to real estate investing but very eager to learn and get started. I'm hoping to find a good deal on a duplex that's either already occupied or with the hopes of living in one unit and renting the other out.

All advice and words of encouragement are welcomed :)

I am new so please provide information in that instance!
