Thanks everyone. That really helps me out. I appreciate the feedback. The Schlage Encode looks like a good choice.  A little pricy. But you get what you pay for I guess.

Hey everyone, I'm looking for good options for price and usability for smart locks to use on personal home and rental properties. I'm in the Midwest so they would have to do well at up to -25 Fahrenheit or so. If anyone has a favorite they would like to share that would be great! Thanks and good luck this year!

What site seems to work the best? I'm currently not on the MLS and just browsing with Realtor.com. Currently i'm Not seeing anything for ‘multifamilies'. Is there a better free site to browse? I don't want to engage a realtor at this point and waste anyone's time since I'll be waiting 2-3 years.. Thanks for the input everyone.

Hello, I’m just getting started in real estate. I’ve been forced into the analysis paralysis by my good wife who would like our kids to be in school before we start purchasing properties (that’s fair). So I’m paying off school debt and saving money for a conventional loan vs or may do a heloc. I’m in the twin cities area MN and was wondering where to find local discussions, even on the forums. I was thinking single family or duplex to start, but there doesn’t seem to be many multi families in the area. Any insight as to where to find out what’s going on in my area would be great. Thanks!
