Smart Locks and Doorbell Cameras

Hey everyone, I'm looking for good options for price and usability for smart locks to use on personal home and rental properties. I'm in the Midwest so they would have to do well at up to -25 Fahrenheit or so. If anyone has a favorite they would like to share that would be great! Thanks and good luck this year!

Hey Chase, Id recommend the Schlage Encode Smart Wi-Fi Deadbolt.  I use it for my vacation rental in the smoky mountains and it has worked great while self managing from MN.  Very user friendly for guests to use and it also has a great free app you can setup on your phone and adjust a number of settings/notifications within the lock.  Auto lock after a certain amount of seconds if guests forget to lock the door behind them, can lock and unlock the door via the app and you can setup alerts to be notified when locked and unlocked for guest check ins/outs, cleaners and contractor's stopping by for maintenance.  The lock itself will still work via batteries if there is a power outage or the wifi disconnects, you just wont have app features until power or wifi has been reconnected. I use it at my current house and it has worked great in MN winters.
