@Dennis M. My apologies if it’s a simpleton question. I really am so new at this. I’m spending hours a day reading and watching everything I can. But it’s still very confusing at this point. As an ex teacher .. I never hold back a question :)

@Dennis M. I hear that term a lot on here but I have yet to figure out how one finds off market deals. A couple people speak of having a realtor they work a lot with share houses before MLS. But if we don't know a realtor... where are these off markets to be found ? How ?

I’m curious about applying for online loans. With companies like Rocket mortgage or Quicken Loans.

Has anyone had any experiences with them ? Good or bad ? Do they tend to approve ? Are they good with more creative ways to get the loan ?

@Dawn Brenengen I lived in rocky mount. And I’m here to tell you - I did not go to my car without a gun in hand. Every neighbors I’ve had was a drug dealer or a squatter I would be very cautious of renting in that area.

@Salvatore Lentini. Oooo. Thank you. It’s nice to hear from someone who had the same beginning . Lots of advice there to follow. I’m taking everyone’s words seriously and going forth. I’m joining next month ( had an inspection to pay for this month) I have nothing but free time. Every day all day long ... it sucks ! Haha. I’m happy to do the work!
