@Aaron K.and @Carolina E. I really appreciate the feedback from both of you. I will definitely take everything under consideration and try to make it work. I really want to fix this property up and get a tenant so I can get another property and do the same thing and continue doing it over and over. I want to be successful at this, it’s a passion that I have. Wish I had my uncle to mentor and help me through this first house. Unfortunately he passed away. My uncle was a very successful real estate investor. So now I’m taking advise from bigger pockets which I find to be very resourceful.
Thanks and if you have any other pertinent info please feel free to share the knowledge.

P.s do you think any of those institutions will work with bad credit?

Yes it’s not safe to live in right now. But 20k to 26k would take care of all repairs. I did get a good deal but I don’t want to sell I want to rent it out.

Okay thanks.. I will definitely check those options out. I doubt they will work out because my credit is crap and I paid cash for the house.

Bought a house with cash with intentions on fixing and renting it out. Came to a dilemma because I don’t have the money to pay for the rehab work. Any suggestions out there? What would you do ?

Hello I have already purchased a property. I would like to fix it up and rent it out. I paid cash so there is no mortgage or leans on the house. My dilemma is that I do not have the funds to rehab the house. Does anyone know which direction I should go to get funding for the rehab work. Is a conventional bank the best approach? What about hard money lenders , anyone had any good or bad experience with them? Has anyone got money from them with bad credit? Just looking for some good Real Estate investor’s advise.

@Jonathan Greene I agree , now what if the person purchases the property and just needs rehab help ? What would be a good proposition to get help with the finances?

@Jr Trotta look into Baltimore you can buy cheap and make huge profits. If you have the money or the credit you can make it happen here.
