Sorry that i disgust you (actually I'm not at all) but I guess it's to be expected if you are ok with people that molest little kids. My decision is based nothing on thier potential to do it again, its what's already been done. Someone has to stand up for the children since you seem to be more concerned with the predators. I think this is a huge  problem with this country in the lack of severity in this department so your not going to get any sympathy from me. We are on total opposite sides of the fence on this one.

I seriously doubt someone like you would find something "within the lines." If someone served out their sentence that should be the end of it, no registry, no shady landlords like you discriminating against them. People with your attitude is the real reason why this country is going down the toilet. I could care less for your "sympathy." I'm glad you are in another state because we have enough scummy slumlords in SW Ohio.

Its interesting that you are hung up on me staying legal (which i never said otherwise) yet u pm me calling me names and that you would ruin my house if you had the chance, so i guess legality only applies when it suits you right. It's funny that people like you play the victim until you dont get your way then the true colors come through. Like I said if we were talking some minor crime that has a person on the sex crime list, I would understand your position. And when it comes to pedophiles, I agree with you they shouldn't be on the list. They should be in jail for life!!

I would let the guy go. I never try to squeeze money on technicalities and try to be fair. I think the owner is getting what he deserves and would be high fiving the old guy lol

Grandma sounds like an ideal tenant. A lifelong renter with a stable job. I just rented to a similar situation so my vote goes to grandma!!

@David Hallner Spellcheck got me, meant to say coats, not cost. Basically cheap paint winds up costing a lot more time due to poor coverage and more coats
@Rema W. Using cheap paint usually results in poor coverage and more costs. Also is less durable. I like the behr super paint or sherwin William's. Also dont like flat for walls, it's terrible to clean

@Jim K. Hahaha, I think hes far better worrying about real estate than woman at 17. Kill it now and worry about woman in 10 years. Nearly everyone I know that got married under 25 is now on too partner number 2.

@James McCray Good post, I've often wondered the same. Has always made me wonder if they are really doing that good or they just selling. I'm sure many just have a passion to help others but I tend to think for most it's an easier stream than walking the talk.
@Jim Adrian In my opinion a person that rapes or molests an innocent child, should be living in a place 6 feet under. Some things are way more important than money, and this is one. I would either get out of the deal or might just go through with the deal only cause I would make it my personal mission to get rid of this guy.

@Nicholas Gray Good for you for knowing what you want. And I'm not trying to discourage you but just throwing this out there. I have about the same engineering degrees as you, and worked in aerospace first 3 years out of school. Absolutely HATED it, wanted to do something else. I switched to oil and gas and still really enjoy it 10 years later. I am still working to get to a point with real estate where I dont need the job but more out of freedom than anything. Point is there are so many options with that degree that it's worth looking into. Sales engineering may be a thought. Again if you know what you want you should go for it but just throwing my experience out there cause it will be hard to pull in the salary that you will make as an engineer.
