I'm still getting myself into a position to make a purchase. Educating and gathering funds but once I'm finished with that step I'll be ready! Are these banks ok with out of state investors?

I wouldn't occupy it. It would be an out of state investment. I'm looking at both SFR and multifamily 2-4 in hopes the terms of a loan would be same or at least similar. Sorry I didn't clarify.

I'm curious what the loan packages for long term rentals might be? Mainly asking what's the bare minimum downpayment needed? I'm looking at the Des Moines or Indianapolis areas specifically but wouldn't mind input from any area. Thank you

Sorry @Erik Estrada I should have specified. It would be on my primary residence and I've already reached out to my local credit union, I just would like to see others opinions or options.

Hello, I'm an aspiring investor in the Treasure Valley looking at different financing options for an investment property. I am asking for recommendations for mortgage brokers, credit unions or the like for a HELOC. Thank you for your time everyone.

Hey Matt I'm currently shopping around for a HELOC and started talking to my bank ICCU. Even with a great credit score(800+) and no unsecured debit I received a rate of 5.5. I was wondering what credit union did you go to for your better rate?
